Procedure

How many sessions do I need?The amount of sessions depends on the severity of the hair loss and/or thinning, also the rout cause. We highly recommend to book in for a 'Hair Loss Consultation' to determine a treatment plan specific to you. However PRP treatment sessions is in-between 3-8 sessions for long term results.

What is the downtime?There is minimal downtime with this treatment, you are able to go back to work and run errands! The aftercare is no vigorous exercise, no washing your hair or any activity that will make you sweat for 24 hours. We go through all pre and post care in more detail in your initial consultation.

Does it hurt?Our staff are highly experienced making you feel comfortable throughout the process. We have a tool to ease any discomfort from the micro injections.

How long does the treatment take?The treatment takes 60 minutes including Red Light Therapy, however injecting the plasma is between 10-15 minutes.

Are there any side effects?As we are using the patients own plasma, there are no side effects from this treatment. Only swelling and possible bruising from the injecting, which will disperse within the 24 hours.

Is PRP recommended after a Hair Transplant?Yes! a course of 3 sessions of PRP is recommended post transplant as this increases the survival rate of the transplanted hair. The PRP ensures the follicles stay strong and healthy which will guarantee long lasting results.
